Rosario joined the TTAG Ambassadors program because she wants to continue educating, informing and raising awareness about Tourette syndrome in the Spanish- speaking community.
She’s been doing it for years and I don’t plan on taking a break!

Christina Batagia
Christinas life took a different path when her son was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and ADHD at the age of 7. Since then, she has dedicated herself to understanding these conditions- learning what they are, how to live with them, and how best to support her son.
There is very little awareness about TS and ADHD in Greece, and she feels compelled to change that.

Dr. Joy Legbo is a Paediatrician at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, Nigeria.
In Nigeria, tic disorders and Tourette syndrome are often underrecognized, leading to stigma and delayed care. She is passionate about raising awareness, promoting early diagnosis, and building local capacity to ensure children receive timely and effective support.

Aliza Visagie
Based in South Africa, Aliza’s advocacy was sparked by her son’s Tourette syndrome diagnosis, turning a moment of uncertainty into a mission. Guided by his words – “It’s part of me… not all of me” – she is focused on raising awareness, changing perceptions, and fostering acceptance of TS and related conditions.
With a strong commitment to early recognition and support for families and educators, Aliza strives to create a more inclusive environment where people with TS are respected, understood, and embraced without stigma.
