TTAG Lived Experience Advisor
E.G. Gidner
We’re excited to have E.G. Gidner as our Lived Experience Advisor!
In TTAG, we’re deeply committed to amplifying Patient Participation and Involvement (PPI), and E.G. is the visionary leader we need to champion this cause. As the direct point of contact for our Research Committee and the broader international research community, E.G. will play a crucial role in advancing TTAG’s mission to foster global collaboration and enhance research efforts that support individuals touched by Tics and Tourette Syndrome.
E.G. brings a wealth of experience and passion to this role. Currently the Director of the Bureau of Trust Funds Administration at the U.S. Department of the Interior, he has been a key member of our Board of Directors since TTAG’s inception. As a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Chippewa Tribe and someone living with Tourette Syndrome, E.G. offers both personal insight and professional expertise that will be invaluable to our work.
With an impressive academic background that includes a law degree and a master’s in Natural Resources Policy and Management from the University of Michigan, an MBA from American University, and a bachelor’s in Zoology from Michigan State, E.G. is well-equipped for this pivotal role. He’s also a dedicated family man, living in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife and two daughters.
E.G.’s journey is truly inspiring, and we’re eager to see the remarkable impact he will make as our TTAG Lived Experience Advisor!
