Presenting TTAG Global Research Committee chaired by Dr. Kinga Tomczak

To carry out our mission and tasks, we work through various committees with expertise in various important areas of our objectives.

One of TTAGs important missions is to support and participate in national and international research, including increased patient and public engagement (PPI) and patient-driven research a.o. by upfront inclusion in definition of study concept and design. 

TTAG is excited to welcome Dr. Kinga Tomczak as the Chair of this vital committee. Dr. Tomczak is a pediatric neurologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and a faculty at Harvard Medical School with a broad background in genetics, neurology and neuropsychology. She has received her MD and PhD degrees from the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2000 and 2011. She completed her postdoctoral training in genetics, genomics, and pediatric neurology at prestigious institutions in Boston, MA in the lab of Dr. Alan Beggs at Harvard Medical School. In 2020, she launched Tic Disorders and Tourette Syndrome program to serve a large community of patients with tic disorders in the Boston area and beyond.
