New Translations Available: “A Dinosaur with Tourette Syndrome”

We’re excited to share inspiring news from our member association Tourette-Gesellschaft Deutschland e.V. (TGD)!

TGD’s beloved children’s story, A Dinosaur with Tourette Syndrome, originally published in German, is now newly available in both English and Spanish – and free to access!

These new translations open up this uplifting and educational book to a broader international audience. It is offered for personal, non-commercial use by individuals with Tourette Syndrome, their families, educators, and anyone wanting to foster awareness and inclusion.

🦖 What’s the story about?

A Dinosaur with Tourette Syndrome follows the journey of Ticco, a young dinosaur who lives with tics – and learns to embrace himself just as he is. Through Ticco’s story, children are empowered to celebrate their uniqueness, while others learn to better understand and support them.

Written by Hermann Krämer and beautifully illustrated by Gemma del’Ou, the story sparks conversations about Tourette Syndrome and encourages empathy, self-acceptance, and resilience. The new English and Spanish translations were made possible thanks to TTAG member association ACOVASTTA, who contributed their time and expertise to bring the story to an even wider audience.
