TTAG is pleased to welcome Dr. Joy Legbo as its new Ambassador for Nigeria.
Dr. Legbo is a paediatrician based in Sokoto with nearly 20 years of experience in clinical practice. Her longstanding work with children and families has given her broad insight into neurodevelopmental health and the challenges faced by those seeking appropriate care and support.
As TTAG Ambassador, Dr. Legbo will contribute to raising awareness of Tourette Syndrome and tic disorders in Nigeria, with the potential for this work to resonate more widely throughout West Africa. She will support initiatives aimed at improving understanding among healthcare professionals, educators, families, and communities, and at strengthening access to accurate information.
Her appointment marks an important step in TTAG’s continued efforts to expand its international presence and foster collaboration across regions.
