Available for viewing: TTAG Webinar on Coprophenomena’

We are pleased to announce that the recording of our TTAG webinar, “Beyond the Stereotype: Debunking Myths and Raising Awareness of Coprophenomena”, is now available to watch.

Tourette syndrome is often misrepresented in popular culture as being defined by involuntary swearing. In reality, it is a complex neurological condition, and coprophenomena are only one possible feature — they are not required for diagnosis.

In this webinar, Professor Andrea E. Cavanna (University of Birmingham) discusses coprophenomena, including coprolalia and copropraxia, and provides important clinical and societal context to help challenge common misconceptions.

We sincerely thank Professor Cavanna for contributing to a more informed and balanced understanding of Tourette syndrome.
