Our TTAG Ambassador Network is expanding, connecting committed individuals who share our vision of a world in which people with Tourette syndrome and tic disorders are understood, respected and included.
We are delighted to welcome Sabina Mrlak as TTAG Ambassador for Slovenia. Sabina is a communications professional with experience in media, public relations and public-awareness initiatives, supported by an academic background in sociology and community social work.
In her role as a volunteer TTAG Ambassador, Sabina aims to raise awareness of the many ways Tourette syndrome can present, challenge stereotypes and improve access to reliable, evidence-based information in Slovenia. She believes that greater awareness, early recognition and appropriate support can significantly improve inclusion and wellbeing.
Sabina joins a growing global network of TTAG Ambassadors who bring a valuable combination of personal perspectives, professional expertise and local knowledge. They raise awareness, connect communities and professionals, identify local needs and strengthen the voices of people affected by Tourette syndrome.
Every community has its own cultural, healthcare and educational context. By linking these local perspectives with TTAG’s international network, our Ambassadors help ensure that knowledge, experience and effective approaches can be shared across borders.
