Karina has had Tourette Syndrome since she was 9 years old, and know how hard it is!
As a South American country, Peru suffers from a lack of information among society, schools, and even doctors who often don’t know what Tourette is.
She is a representative of Tourette Peru, and lives in Lima.
Karina aim to build a support community in every sense of the word—physically, emotionally, socially, culturally, and medically—for people with Tourette Syndrome in Peru.
“Being part of the global Tourette support network is a huge opportunity for personal growth and to raise awareness about Tourette in the world and in my country.
We need a lot of work to spread awareness and educate people about Tourette”
